Emre Can (5/10)

Emre Can spent a good chunk of the second half arguing with the referee, which certainly did not help Borussia Dortmund’s cause. The Germany international lost his composure at times in the second half and was often caught chasing bodies, thanks to Bochum’s effective counter-attacking play.

Jude Bellingham (5/10)

Bellingham lost sight of Losilla and failed to close him down in time for Bochum’s first goal. He made some lively forward runs in the first half and also helped set up chances for his teammates. But he also carelessly lost the ball on a few occasions while trying to make things happen.

Julian Brandt (4/10)

Brandt endured a frustrating evening as he failed to cause any problems to the resilient Bochum defence. The Germany international seemed to be lacking the creative spark and clever movement that were crucial to his excellent form before his injury.
