Karim Adeyemi’s recent return has rejuvenated the offence and it is evident. The electric winger is in great form, providing two assists in the recent Frankfurt match. His pace will be a nightmare for Bochum’s defenders.

Donyell Malen is playing his best football in a BVB shirt lately and that demands a start. He has registered six goals and three assists in the last five games in the Bundesliga, and will look to add to that tally against Bochum.

Given the size of VfL Bochum’s center-backs, Edin Terzic will likely opt to start a tall striker to have an aerial presence in the opposition’s penalty box. Sebastien Haller will be leading the lines. He has recently been finding his rhythm and will look to contribute in the team’s attacking play.
