Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid have yet to hold talks over the signature of Jude Bellingham, amid reports that the midfielder is set to join the Spanish club.
Multiple reports claimed on Wednesday that Jude Bellingham is set to join Real Madrid in the summer, and the Spanish giants are already close to agreeing personal terms with the England international.
But WAZ are now reporting that Borussia Dortmund have yet to receive an official offer from Real Madrid for the midfielder, and there have also not been any talks between the two clubs as of this writing.
BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl refused to comment when asked about Jude Bellingham’s future on Wednesday, saying that their main focus right now is the Bundesliga title race.
It will be interesting to see how the transfer poker surrounding Bellingham’s future progresses in the coming weeks. The chances of him leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer are very high. But the Black and Yellows are under no pressure to sell him at the moment, and will demand a fee in the region of 150 million euros for his transfer.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also been heavily linked with a move for the 19 year old, but now it appears that Real Madrid are leading the race for his signature.
Jude Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund from hometown club Birmingham City in 2020 and has established himself as one of the most talented young midfielders in the world. He still has more than two years left on his current BVB contract.
