Prioritize space for Karim Adeyemi to operate

At this point, it’s undeniably obvious that the most lethal weapon on this Borussia Dortmund front line is Karim Adeyemi. His sheer speed and absurd athleticism is a threat to every Bundesliga defense. It’s the job of Edin Terzic and his staff to therefore put him in places in which he can find space to force Wolfsburg’s defenders to engage with his speed.

In other words, whether it be through the middle or the wing, Adeyemi’s ability on the ball is considerably lethal and it must be relied on.

It can be said that Borussia Dortmund have been missing the presence of a reliable striker who is consistently turning in quality performances. Adeyemi, who missed a handful of matches through injury earlier in the campaign, is capable of unlocking deep-lying defensive postures through direct dribbling and simply needs an increased amount of touches on the ball.

The fastest player in the Bundesliga has more to his game than counter-attacking forward runs. Technical ability within congested penalty areas is just as much a part of his overall skill set and he has demonstrated that he possesses fluid chemistry with the likes of Donyell Malen, Julian Brandt, and virtually all of the club’s key playmakers.
