Report: Borussia Dortmund have submitted an offer for PSG defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu

Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in signing El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who is enjoying an impressive breakthrough campaign with Paris St. Germain.
Highly-rated centre-back El Chadaille Bitshiabu has been making plenty of waves for Paris St. Germain this season, and a number of clubs are said to be interested in signing him. According to French newspaper L’Équipe, PSG have already received two offers of more than 15 million euros (including bonuses) for his signature from Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 17 year old’s current contract with the French giants is set to expire at the end of next season. PSG are still hoping to extend his contract and are in talks with his representatives over an extension. But if the defender decides against signing an extension, PSG may look to sell him this summer in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
El Chadaille Bitshiabu is regarded very highly in France, and has already made a total of 16 appearances for the Paris St. Germain first-team. He made his UEFA Champions League debut last month during PSG’s round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich.
Defence is an area Borussia Dortmund may look to bolster in the summer. Mats Hummels has yet to make a decision on his future beyond the end of the season. And the BVB bosses may also look to add some much-needed depth to the squad at centre-back.

El Chadaille Bitshiabu certainly has the attributes to develop into a top class defender. And it will be interesting to see how serious Borussia Dortmund’s interest is in the France U-19s international.
