Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 6-0 win over Wolfsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Emre Can (6/10)
Emre Can did his job without any fuss and also slotted in at centre-back after Mats Hummels was subbed off. He made a number of vital recoveries, and also played some clever long passes.
Jude Bellingham (8/10)
Jude Bellingham struggled in the first half but stepped up emphatically after the break to lead Borussia Dortmund’s charge. The England international found the back of the net twice, with his first goal being a thunderous finish after a darting run from inside the BVB half. He also won his side a penalty and looked unplayable at times.
When Bellingham is on his game, Borussia Dortmund are a completely different team. The second half against Wolfsburg was a prime example of that.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Brandt finally found his form and showed glimpses of the quality that saw him win the Bundesliga player of the month award for January and February. The playmaker was heavily involved in Borussia Dortmund’s attacking play and helped set up three of the team’s six goals. His clever movement and link-up play meant that Wolfsburg were always on the back-foot.
