Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 6-0 win over Wolfsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Karim Adeyemi (9/10)
Adeyemi made an excellent leap to head home Borussia Dortmund’s opening goal before showing his blistering pace to set up Sebastien Haller for the second. He then doubled his tally in the second half, before missing the chance to complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot. Despite the miss, it was a breathtaking performance from the Germany international and the Wolfsburg defenders weren’t able to keep up with him.
Donyell Malen (6/10)
Malen missed a couple of great chances to score before finally finding the back of the net in the 37th minute. The in-form forward had a quiet game by his standards but still managed to make an impact.
Sebastien Haller (8/10)
Haller had a tap-in for Borussia Dortmund’s second goal, and then returned the favour to Karim Adeyemi by showing great awareness to set him up for the fifth. Slowly but surely, the Ivory Coast international is becoming a very important part of the BVB attack.
Marco Reus, Youssoufa Moukoko, Salih Özcan, Gio Reyna, Felix Passlack (N/R)
Moukoko and Reus both forced good saves from Kasteels.
