Borussia Dortmund’s hopes of keeping Jude Bellingham at the club beyond the end of the season are dwindling, with the midfielder set to reject the club’s offer of a new contract.

The future of Jude Bellingham continues to be the subject of new speculation every day. Reports claim that he has already decided to join Real Madrid, and the two clubs now need to reach an agreement on the transfer fee. The England international is unlikely to stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond the end of the season, and BILD are claiming that he will reject the club’s contract extension offer.

The tabloid adds that Borussia Dortmund are willing to make Bellingham the club’s highest paid player if he extends his contract by one year. But the annual salary of 14 million euros that the BVB bosses are offering to the 19 year old pales in comparison to Real Madrid’s reported offer of 20 million euros.

The Black and Yellows could still refuse to sell Bellingham this summer if they are unable to reach an agreement on the transfer fee with any of the interested clubs. But with his current contract expiring in 2025, they would risk having to sell him for a much lower fee at the end of next season.
