Karim Adeyemi (6/10)

Adeyemi didn’t look as lively as he did against Wolfsburg, but still managed to help set up a few chances for his teammates. The Gladbach defenders often struggled to cope with his blistering pace and directness in the final third.

Donyell Malen (9/10)

Malen continued his incredible run of form by scoring one and setting up both of Haller’s goals. He was a menace down the right wing and caused Ramy Bensebaini all sorts of problems in the first half.

Sebastien Haller (10/10)

Haller showed his incisiveness and delivered what was arguably his best performance in a Borussia Dortmund shirt. The Ivory Coast international played a key role in the build-up to the first goal, before winning a penalty and then scoring a quick-fire brace. The finish for his first goal was especially sublime, as he back-heeled the ball into the back of the net.
