Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-0 win over Augsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (6/10)
Wolf was solid defensively and hardly put a foot wrong. But things didn’t seem to quite click for him going forward. His decision making certainly wasn’t the best, especially in the first half.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle defended well and also came close to scoring in the first half, when his header hit the post. He also helped out in the build-up play to great effect on a number of occasions.
Mats Hummels (7/10)
Hummels once again seemed to be in inspired form. He led the defence really well in the first half, and set the tone by making a number of crucial tackles. The veteran centre-back also helped set up the first big chance for Borussia Dortmund with his trademark long ball.
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson put in a hard working shift without much end product to show for it. He had a few issues defensively as well, especially in the second half. But it didn’t end up costing Borussia Dortmund in the end.
