Jude Bellingham held final talks with the Borussia Dortmund bosses on Sunday morning, ahead of his impending move to Real Madrid.
The future of Jude Bellingham is expected to be resolved in the coming days, with the England international looking increasingly likely to join Real Madrid. Multiple reports in Germany claim that the midfielder and his parents held final talks regarding his future with BVB bosses Hans-Joachim Watzke and Sebastian Kehl on Sunday morning.
Ruhr Nachrichten also claim that Bellingham handed out gifts to club employees at Borussia Dortmund’s training ground, which very much point to a farewell.
It has been widely reported that the 19 year old has reached an agreement on personal terms with Real Madrid. And reports claim that the two clubs will hold final talks next week in a bid to reach an agreement on a transfer fee.
Borussia Dortmund reportedly want a transfer fee in the region of 150 million euros for Jude Bellingham, who still has more than two years left on his contract. While Real Madrid are willing to pay a fixed fee of 100 million euros plus bonuses.
The Black and Yellows have already started to intensify their efforts over finding a replacement, and are in pole position to sign Edson Álvarez from Ajax.
Jude Bellingham was one of Borussia Dortmund’s top performers this season. So his impending departure will be a big blow for the club. And Sebastian Kehl and co. will have their work cut out as they look to figure out a way to replace him in the squad next season.
