Thorgan Hazard has admitted that he is likely to leave to leave Borussia Dortmund after returning from his loan spell at PSV in the summer.

The future of Thorgan Hazard is expected to lie away from Borussia Dortmund. And the winger has now stated that it would be best if he left the Black and Yellows this summer.

Hazard spent the last six months on loan with PSV Eindhoven. But he is considered to be too expensive for the Dutch side, and a stay beyond the end of the season appears to be out of the question. In an interview with Het Nieuwsblad, the 30 year old said:

"“I had to leave Dortmund in January to get more playing time. Overall, I am satisfied with my time on loan at PSV, although I had hoped for more playing time. It started well, but then I got injured and it was difficult to get back into the team because the team was doing well.”“We had agreed that we would talk after I returned from vacation to find the best solution. And I think it would be best for me to leave.”"

It was reported earlier this week that Borussia Dortmund are looking to part ways with Hazard this summer. The BVB bosses are hopeful of finding a buyer for the Belgian international, who has just over 12 months left on his current contract.

Thorgan Hazard joined Borussia Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2019. After an encouraging start to his BVB career, he fell out of favour and was limited to sporadic appearances. He decided to join PSV Eindhoven in January to get more playing time, but injuries meant that he was limited to just 13 appearances for the Dutch side.

Hazard did score a crucial goal for PSV in the Dutch Cup final against Ajax. But it looks like his team with the Dutch side will come to an end in the summer, and he will now look for a new challenge in the coming months.
