Alexsander (19, CM, Fluminense)

Alexsander is the all-rounder on this list. The 19-year-old officially made his Fluminense debut last season, but he has made an impressive splash as a starter this year. The young midfielder helped his team defeat the usually dominant Flamengo 4-1 at the state tournament Campeonato Carioca final after losing the first leg 2-0.

Alexsander scored the fourth goal on that night, with Fluminense displaying one of the best performances of the year so far. They defeated their biggest and richest rival in Rio, described by many as a tactical masterclass by the promising young coach Fernando Diniz.

Valued at 1.2 million euros on Transfermarkt, Alexsander is a left-footed box-to-box midfielder who can play in multiple positions, including left-midfield and even left-back. His passing and shooting abilities are his strong suit, plus his adaptability in different positions might qualify him as a possible Guerreiro replacement.
