Giovani (19, LM/RM, Palmeiras)

Surprisingly, Giovani is not the most expensive player on this list, which is totally unrelated to his talent. He is one of Brazil’s most exciting youth talents, a natural left-footed player who plays out wide on the right. However, he has yet to make the same impact on the first-team as in the juniors.

Giovani had a few chances to show his talent with the first-team, especially during this year’s state tournament Campeonato Paulista, with 11 appearances and almost 300 minutes played. Since then, he has not been able to find a regular spot in the team, mainly due to the vast variety of offensive options Palmeiras has.

Much like Marlon Gomes, he has more experience playing for Brazil’s youth teams. For instance, he began the 2023 World Cup as a starter and featured twice during the tournament.

According to Tranfermarkt, Giovani is valued at 10 million euros, but considering he plays at a top team like Palmeiras, signing him might be more expensive. Even so, Giovani is worth the risk; he is young, skillful, and has youth national team experience. It would be fascinating to see him develop at a club like Borussia Dortmund.
