A dominant display against the Billy Goats

Borussia Dortmund didn’t have a problem when it came to scoring goals in the second half of the season for the most part. The 6-1 win against Köln was another example of BVB being at their ruthless best in front of the goal.

Having only managed one win in their last five games against Köln, this match-up was expected to be a challenging one for Borussia Dortmund. However, they managed to take full control of the game and returned to winning ways on the back of deflating results against Schalke and Chelsea.

Raphaël Guerreiro put on a man-of-the-match performance with two assists and a goal. While Sebastien Haller and Marco Reus both grabbed two goals each.

The display was another proof of how Borussia Dortmund managed to make their home stadium a fortress this past season. And that is something they must continue as they look to fight for the Bundesliga title once again next season.
