Jude Bellingham has officially signed for Real Madrid, with Borussia Dortmund confirming that every detail of the transfer is now complete.

Borussia Dortmund have revealed that Jude Bellingham is officially a Real Madrid player, with every detail of the transfer now resolved. As revealed earlier this month, the Black and Yellows will receive a fixed fee of 103 million euros plus up to 30% of that fee in performance related bonuses. The England international has signed a six year contract with Real Madrid.

Bellingham’s move away from Borussia Dortmund was inevitable after he established himself as one of the world’s most promising young midfielders, attracting the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs. The BVB bosses were keen to keep the 19 year old at the club, but Real Madrid ultimately won the race for his signature.

Bellingham said in a statement released on Borussia Dortmund’s website that he is proud to have represented BVB for three years, and will never forget his time at the club.

"“Thanks to everyone at BVB and to the fans for everything over the past three years. It was an honour to wear the BVB jersey in the great and not so great moments. Even though I’m looking forward to my next destination, I’ll never forget the journey to get there. Once a Borusse, always a Borusse. All the best for the future. Heja BVB!”"

Jude Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund from hometown side Birmingham City in 2020 and made a total of 132 appearances for the club. He scored 24 goals and registered 25 assists for BVB, and finished his third season as the club’s top scorer across all competitions.
