Real Madrid are said to be keeping tabs on Karim Adeyemi, who is coming off an impressive debut season with Borussia Dortmund.
Having already signed Jude Bellingham for a fee of 103 million euros plus bonuses, Real Madrid are now said to be interested in signing Karim Adeyemi. This is being reported by BILD, who add that the Germany international is on the Spanish giants’ wish list and initial contact with his representatives has already taken place.
Real Madrid are looking to bolster their attacking ranks following the departure of Karim Benzema. And Adeyemi is said to be attracting their interest after impressing for Borussia Dortmund in the second half of the season.
Karim Adeyemi only joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg last summer, and it is highly unlikely that the BVB bosses would be willing to sell him just one year after his arrival.
The 21 year old still has four years left on his contract, and is considered to be a key part of the club’s plans for the coming years. BILD add that for Borussia Dortmund to even think about selling Adeyemi, Real Madrid would have to offer a fee of at least 80 million euros.
Adeyemi made a total of 32 appearances for Borussia Dortmund in the recently concluded season, and registered a total of nine goals and six assists. The forward made a slow start to life at BVB, but found his footing after the turn of the year. His performances also helped him win the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season award.
