Borussia Dortmund are said to be eyeing a move for Manchester City attacking midfielder Cole Palmer, who could be on the move this summer.
Borussia Dortmund have signed a number of talented young players from England and developed them into stars over the years. And Cole Palmer could be next in line, if the latest report from BILD is to be believed.
According to the tabloid, the Black and Yellows have long held an interest in signing the 21 year old. And they have a decent chance of signing him this summer.
After being reduced to a bit-part role at Manchester City, Palmer could look to take the next step in his career as he aims to get more playing time to further his development.
That step could see him make the switch to Borussia Dortmund, who have an excellent track record when it comes to giving meaningful minutes in the first-team to young players. The report adds that a two-year loan move to BVB is also a conceivable option.
Cole Palmer came through the youth team ranks at Manchester City and has made a total of 38 appearances for the club. He has been used in a number of roles by Pep Guardiola, including in attacking midfield, in the number eight role, and on the wing.
Borussia Dortmund have no shortage of options in attacking midfield and attack, so it will be interesting to see if they actually decide to pursue a move for Palmer this summer. Palmer has three years on his current contract with Manchester City.
