This category will likely be controversial since you can make a case for a few new players for the Signing of the Season award. There might not be a unanimous choice among fans, and some might even argue that none of them had an incredible season worth that award. However, Karim Adeyemi would be the most deserving player to fit that title.

His first few games were underwhelming, as he had difficulties finding consistency in performance and, consequently, a steady spot on the starting XI. With the turning of the new year, Adeyemi finally turned on the turbo, showcasing the immaculate pace and explosiveness that made him such an exciting prospect in the first place. He tallied nine goals and six assists in 32 matches. His iconic Champions League goal against Chelsea perfectly exemplifies how good Karim can be if he stays healthy for an extended period of time.
