The transfer window hasn’t even officially opened yet in Germany, but clubs are making moves to bolster their squads ahead of next season. Bayern Munich want to sign a new striker this summer. And according to the Athletic, they have made a bid worth 70 million euros plus add-ons for Harry Kane.
Multiple reports in England claim that the offer has been rejected by Tottenham Hotspur, who are not looking to sell Kane this summer. But the 29 year old has just one year left on his current contract, and Sky Sport claim that he is keen to make the switch to Bayern Munich.
It will be interesting to see if Bayern are able to succeed in their bid to bring Harry Kane to the club. Manchester United and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for the England international in recent weeks.
Bayern Munich pipped Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga title on goal difference on the final day of last season, and have already signed Raphael Guerreiro and Konrad Laimer this summer.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig could lose key defender Josko Gvardiol this summer with Manchester City interested in signing him.
Reports claim that Max Eberl and co. want a fee in the region of 100 million euros for the centre-back, who has four years left on his current contract. Leipzig are eyeing highly rated Lyon defender Castello Lukeba as a potential replacement for Gvardiol.
