Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Warren Zaïre-Emery, and have reportedly already made contact with all parties involved.

It is no secret that Borussia Dortmund want to further bolster their midfield ranks this summer following the signing of Felix Nmecha from VfL Wolfsburg. Paris Saint-Germain’s highly rated midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery is one of the names on the Black and Yellows’ list of targets. And they are apparently pushing to sign him this summer.

This is being reported by RMC Sport, who further claim that Borussia Dortmund have already started holding talks with all parties involved. The report does add that PSG do not want to sell Zaïre-Emery this summer and would instead like to extend his contract.

Paris Saint-Germain’s insistence that Zaïre-Emery is not for sale has not stopped Borussia Dortmund from trying to force the issue, while Arsenal and Manchester City are also closely monitoring his progress. The 17 year old has two years left on his current contract with the French giants.

Warren Zaïre-Emery, who came through the youth team ranks at PSG, enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the first-team in the recently concluded season. He made a total of 31 first-team appearances for PSG last season, and also featured in their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich.
