Borussia Dortmund are set for a reunion with Jadon Sancho on Sunday evening as they take on Manchester United in Las Vegas.
The Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will be the next stop of Borussia Dortmund’s US Tour, and a cracking pre-season contest against Manchester United awaits them. The Black and Yellows will hope to ramp up their preparations for the start of the 2023/24 season, with their first competitive game of the new campaign just two weeks away.
Borussia Dortmund marked the start of their US Tour with a 6-0 win over USL Championship side San Diego Loyal on Thursday. But the performance left a lot to be desired, and Edin Terzic will hope for a much improved display from his side against Manchester United.
New signings Marcel Sabitzer and Felix Nmecha are expected to feature on Sunday after missing Thursday’s game. Gio Reyna remains sidelined and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is also unlikely to be ready in time.
Borussia Dortmund may also have to make do without Julien Duranville and Nico Schlotterbeck after the duo picked up injuries during the game against San Diego Loyal.
Marco Reus has scored in all but one of BVB’s pre-season games so far, and will likely start again on Sunday. Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko were also on target on Thursday. The BVB strike duo will share the minutes up front against Manchester United.
There will also be a reunion with Jadon Sancho, who scored 50 goals and assisted a further 64 in 137 appearances for Borussia Dortmund before joining Manchester United in 2021.

Borussia Dortmund’s pre-season friendly against Manchester United will air live in Germany on Sky Sport and DAZN. ESPN2 and ESPN+ will broadcast the match live for those in the United States. Fans in select countries can also watch the match live on Borussia Dortmund’s YouTube channel.
