Harry Kane set to join Bayern Munich

Borussia Dortmund’s rivals for the Bundesliga title are set to bolster their squad with the signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
After months of speculation, it appears that Harry Kane will be joining Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have reached an agreement on personal terms with the England captain, and will now sign him for a fee worth more than 100 million euros. If the transfer goes through, Kane will become the most expensive player in the history of the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich were desperate to bring in a new number nine this summer. And in Kane, they are about to sign one of the best strikers in the world.
The 30 year old’s arrival will present a huge coup for the Bundesliga. Although it will also make Thomas Tuchel’s side the clear favourites to retain their Bundesliga crown next season.
Kane will become Bayern’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Raphael Guerreiro, Konrad Laimer, and Kim Min-jae.
Harry Kane has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, including 32 in 49 matches last season. The move to Bayern will give him the opportunity to fight for the top titles, something that wasn’t always possible at Tottenham.
Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly looking to sign a new striker this month. The Black and Yellows want to add more depth to the number nine position, as Sebastien Haller will be forced to miss a few matches in January when he will be away with Ivory Coast for the Africa Cup of Nations.
