Sebastien Haller scored a brace as Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a comfortable 6-1 win over TSV Schott Mainz in the first round of the DFB-Pokal.

Borussia Dortmund secured their place in the second round of the DFB-Pokal after earning a 6-1 win over fourth division side TSV Schott Mainz. It was a professional performance from Edin Terzic’s side, who got the job done against the fourth division club despite not being at their best.

A first half brace from Sebastien Haller set the tone for Borussia Dortmund, with Julian Brandt also finding the back of the net. Marcel Sabitzer, Donyell Malen, and Youssoufa Moukoko then scored in the second half to seal the win for the Black and Yellows.
