Emre Can (5/10)

Emre Can captained Borussia Dortmund for the first time in a competitive game and looked a bit rusty. He picked up a yellow card for a sloppy late challenge early on, and also left large gaps in midfield for the home side to exploit. Luckily, his errors did not lead to any real chances.

Marcel Sabitzer (6/10)

Sabitzer worked hard and put in a battling display for his side on his competitive debut. The Austrian international had a few issues when it came to linking up with his teammates. But he still managed to find the back of the net in the second half.

Marco Reus (5/10)

Reus kept his place in the starting XI but didn’t necessarily have the best of games. The former BVB captain had two great opportunities to score, but failed to find the back of the net. Although one of his saved shots led to Sabitzer’s goal.
