Edin Terzic has said that Borussia Dortmund will look to make further new signings this month if they feel that they can get players who will improve the team.

Borussia Dortmund have made three signings so far this summer, bringing in Ramy Bensebaini, Felix Nmecha, and Marcel Sabitzer. It is being reported that signing a new centre-back, a back-up striker, and a new right-back remains on the Black and Yellows’ agenda. And Edin Terzic has refused to rule out the possibility of BVB making further moves in the transfer market.

"“We don’t just want players with the same strengths in the team,” Terzic said during his ZDF-Sportstudio appearance. We need players with high quality and young players who are hungry. If we can find another player who we think would make us better, then we’ll try to strike.”"

Further new signings will also depend on whether Borussia Dortmund can sell some of the unwanted players in their ranks. The BVB bosses are hoping to part ways with Thorgan Hazard and Thomas Meunier, while the highly rated Armel Bella-Kotchap is being touted as the club’s preferred defensive reinforcement.

Borussia Dortmund will look to go one better in the Bundesliga standings this season after falling just short in their bid to win the league title in May.

Edin Terzic’s side lost the Meisterschale to Bayern Munich on goal difference after an 89th minute winner from Jamal Musiala on the final matchday of the season. And the BVB head coach wants to use the pain from that title heartbreak as motivation for the coming season.
