Report: Borussia Dortmund interested in signing Cole Palmer but Manchester City want £30 million

Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in signing talented winger Cole Palmer, but Manchester City’s asking price of more than £30 million could put them off.
The Black and Yellows are once again being linked with a move for Cole Palmer, who could leave Manchester City this month as he looks for regular playing time. The talented winger has enjoyed an impressive start to the season. And Sport1 are reporting that Borussia Dortmund are very interested in signing him.
But reports in England claim that Manchester City want more than £30 million for Palmer’s sale this summer, and that asking price would almost certainly make him too expensive for Borussia Dortmund.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl reiterated earlier this week that BVB will only spend 2/3rds of the transfer fee they received for Jude Bellingham this summer.
Cole Palmer came through the youth team ranks at Manchester City, much like Jadon Sancho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens who ended up joining Borussia Dortmund at a very young age for regular playing time.
Capable of playing both in attacking midfield and out on the wing, Palmer has made a total of 41 first-team appearances for Manchester City. Three of those appearances have come so far this season, and he has already scored two goals.
Pep Guardiola recently said that Palmer could leave Manchester City this month, but added that he will not be sent out on a loan deal. The 21 year old still has three years left on his current contract with Manchester City. And it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
