Borussia Dortmund will reportedly look to spend their remaining transfer budget for this summer on a new striker.

The summer transfer window will close in less than two weeks, and Borussia Dortmund have a number of positions they could look to bolster their squad in. But the Black and Yellows do not have much money left to spend on new signings.

According to BILD, Borussia Dortmund have about 8.5 million euros left to spend this summer. And barring any player sales, which seem highly unlikely, the BVB bosses will look to spend the remaining money on signing a new striker who will come with a guarantee of goals.

Edin Terzic hinted earlier this month that Borussia Dortmund could look to bring in a new striker because Sebastien Haller will be forced to miss a few games in January as he will be away with the Ivory Coast national team for the Africa Cup of Nations. BVB parted ways with Anthony Modeste earlier this summer after his contract with the club expired.

Borussia Dortmund also have Youssoufa Moukoko in their ranks, and both Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi are also capable of playing in that role. But it has been reported in recent weeks that Terzic would like a more physical presence up front.
