Felix Passlack looking forward to Borussia Dortmund reunion this weekend

VfL Bochum right-back Felix Passlack is excited about the prospect of going up against former club Borussia Dortmund this weekend.
The Ruhr Derby will take centre stage in the Bundesliga on Saturday, as Borussia Dortmund make the short trip to VfL Bochum. Felix Passlack, who joined VfL Bochum on a free transfer this summer after leaving the Black and Yellows, is looking forward to facing his former employers this weekend.
"“I’ve built up many friendships over the years, for example with Marco Reus and Mats Hummels,” Passlack said in an interview with SportBILD. “Playing against them now is something special. I’m even more excited to be entering our stadium for the first time. The place will be packed – a goosebumps atmosphere.”"
Felix Passlack came through the youth team ranks at Borussia Dortmund and spent a total of 11 years at the club before his move to Bochum. The 25 year old made a total of 55 first-team appearances for BVB, and also had three loan moves away from the club.
Passlack has been in the starting XI for both of Bochum’s games so far this season. But it has been a start to forget for Thomas Letsch’s side, who were knocked out of the DFB-Pokal by third division side Arminia Bielefeld before losing 5-0 to VfB Stuttgart on matchday one of the Bundesliga season.
But Passlack believes that Bochum can cause Borussia Dortmund problems on Saturday with their high intensity approach.
"“It will be important that we step on the gas from the first minute,” Passlack said (via Reviersport). “We have to bring our own game to the pitch, face the Dortmund players with high intensity and take them on in the duels.”"
VfL Bochum vs Borussia Dortmund will take place on Saturday, August 26, with the game set to kick-off at 3:30 pm CET.
