It has been a rough start to life as Borussia Dortmund captain for Emre Can on the pitch. And things did not get any better on Saturday, as he failed to impose himself on the game and was caught chasing bodies for the most part. The Germany international also threatened to lose his cool, and could have easily received a second yellow card late on.

Marcel Sabitzer (4/10)

Sabitzer did not fare any better, as he struggled to plug the gaps in the Borussia Dortmund midfield. He did not seem to have a clear idea of what his role was supposed to be, and he failed to offer anything in the build-up play as a result.

Felix Nmecha (5/10)

Nmecha certainly had his moments in the final third and also hit the outside of the post. But he was also far too casual at times and his decision making wasn’t always the best.
