Karim Adeyemi (5/10)

Adeyemi wasn’t able to get involved as much as he would have liked. He is still finding his rhythm after missing the majority of pre-season.

Donyell Malen (5/10)

Malen looked lively once again and got into some really good positions, but missed a couple of good chances to score. A little more composure in front of goal would have gone a long way in helping Borussia Dortmund get the three points.

Sebastien Haller (2/10)

Haller couldn’t manage to get involved in the game and failed to even get a single shot. The striker then made a calamitous error and gave away a cheap penalty that allowed Heidenheim to get back on level terms.
