Borussia Dortmund will look to deliver a statement of their Bundesliga title credentials on Friday as they go up against 1. FC Heidenheim.

The final Bundesliga matchday before September’s international break is upon us, and Borussia Dortmund will square off against 1. FC Heidenheim at the Westfalenstadion. After dropping points against VfL Bochum last weekend, the Black and Yellows will look to clinch a straightforward win against the newly promoted side on Friday.

Borussia Dortmund desperately struggled to create chances in their first two Bundesliga matches of the season, and were limited to just two goals. So Edin Terzic will want to see a much improved performance from his side against Heidenheim.

Donyell Malen has been on target in all three of Borussia Dortmund’s competitive games so far this season. And he will look to continue his fine run of form this weekend.

Julian Brandt has also impressed, but it has been a difficult start to the season for the likes of Emre Can and Marcel Sabitzer. The trio will look to help BVB get things back on track in the middle of the park on Friday.
