Five Borussia Dortmund players could be involved as Germany look to bounce back on Tuesday as they take on France at the Westfalenstadion.

Still reeling from their 4-1 defeat to Japan, Germany will be in desperate need of a win as they go up against France in a friendly match. The defeat to Japan brought an end to Hansi Flick’s reign as head coach, and Rudi Völler, Sandro Wagner and Hannes Wolf will be in the dugout at the Westfalenstadion on Tuesday.

It will be interesting to see if any changes are made to the Germany XI that was humbled by Japan. Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Emre Can all featured in the starting XI against Japan, and the BVB trio had an evening to forget.

Schlotterbeck especially struggled in the left-back role and is unlikely to play there against France. Julian Brandt will hope to play from the start after coming off the bench against Japan. Felix Nmecha could also be in contention if the trio in charge decide to change things up completely.

With Niclas Füllkrug injured, Kai Havertz will likely start up front once again for Germany. Thomas Müller could be another alternative for the number nine role.

France will have to make do without Olivier Giroud, who picked up an injury during their clash against the Republic of Ireland. But their squad features a number of talented players, including the likes of Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappe, and Ousmane Dembele.
