Borussia Dortmund managed to come away with the three points despite not being at their best, as they defeated SC Freiburg 4-2. Mats Hummels scored a crucial brace for the Black and Yellows, including the goal that gave them the lead in the 88th minute.
Donyell Malen and Marco Reus also scored for BVB, who managed to regain momentum and get the win after conceding twice in four first-half minutes.
The latest Borussia Dortmund performance will do little to detract the doubters, as Freiburg buckled under pressure after Nicolas Höfler’s red card. But Terzic will hope that this result can help kick-start their season after a below-par start.
