Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-0 defeat vs PSG
By Tushar Bahl
Mats Hummels (6/10)
Hummels was one of Borussia Dortmund’s best outfield players, and made a number of crucial recoveries for his side. Had it not been for him, the scoreline could have looked a lot worse.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Like Hummels, Schlotterbeck also had a fairly solid game and made several key clearances and tackles for his side in the first half. His passing wasn’t always the best. But it was still a decent performance from the Germany international.
Niklas Süle (5/10)
Süle gave away the penalty that allowed PSG to take the lead. The decision was certainly a contentious one, but it affected his game and he had a few nervy moments after that.
Marius Wolf (5/10)
Wolf had a few problems against Kylian Mbappe but still managed to put in a decent shift for his side. He wasn’t able to make any impact going forward and picked up an injury in the second half.
Julian Ryerson (4/10)
Much like Wolf, Ryerson wasn’t able to cause any problems to the PSG defenders. He put in a spirited performance but had a very difficult time against Ousmane Dembele.
