Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-0 defeat vs PSG
By Tushar Bahl
Emre Can (5/10)
Can played a vital role in keeping PSG at bay in the first half, even if he was forced to cover more ground than he would have liked following Sabitzer’s injury. But he lost his way after the break and was second best in a lot of his duels.
Marcel Sabitzer (N/R)
Sabitzer was forced to come off early after picking up what looked like a groin injury.
Julian Brandt (4/10)
The formation change did not suit Brandt, who was asked to do the impossible by Edin Terzic. The playmaker worked hard but wasn’t able to trouble the PSG defence. His set-pieces were also poor and he was quickly replaced by Marco Reus. The lack of movement from the front two certainly didn’t help his cause.
