Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Wolfsburg: Marco Reus scores in 1-0 win
By Tushar Bahl
Salih Özcan (7/10)
Özcan showed a good account of himself and put in a complete performance in defensive midfield. He fought hard in the duels and also looked more active on the ball in the build-up play. The Turkish international ensured that BVB’s attack kept flowing, even if his lack of technical ability was showing at times.
Felix Nmecha (4/10)
Nmecha had a torrid time in the first-half as he picked up right where he left off in Paris. The Germany international looked careless on the ball and lethargic without it. He did manage to improve after the break, but that was in part because he did not have any defensive responsibilities as Wolfsburg lost their appetite to attack.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Brandt set up the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund and was involved in a lot of good things they did in attack. The playmaker also delivered some solid set-pieces and worked hard for the team. But he will feel that he should have made it 1-0 just one minute before Reus’ goal.
