Marco Reus (7/10)

Reus came up with the winning goal on his return to the starting XI. The former BVB captain was everywhere and made a number of vital recoveries for his side. He also came close to scoring with a free-kick in the first-half, before eventually finding the net in the 68th minute.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (7/10)

Bynoe-Gittens played with great directness and caused a lot of problems to the Wolfsburg defenders with his dangerous runs into the box. But his finishing let him down on a couple of occasions.

Niclas Füllkrug (5/10)

Füllkrug put in a hard working shift for the team. He was always on the run, looking to get on the end of crosses. But his final touch and finishing wasn’t good neough, and he will look to improve on that in the coming matches as he searches for his first goal in a BVB shirt.

Donyell Malen (7/10)

Malen made the difference once again and made things difficult for the tired Wolfsburg defenders. He added more fluency and efficiency to the BVB attack and also played a role in the winning goal.
