Borussia Dortmund secured a narrow 1-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday to keep up the pace with their rivals at the top of the Bundesliga standings.

The Black and Yellows were looking to bounce back following their poor performance against PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday. Edin Terzic made several changes to the line-up from midweek, with the likes of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Niclas Füllkrug, Salih Özcan, Felix Nmecha and Marco Reus getting a chance in the starting XI.

It was not a vintage performance by any means. But as far as recent results and performances have gone – it was an improvement for this side.

Marco Reus scored the only goal of the game, turning home Julian Brandt’s low cross after some fine link-up play in the final third involving Donyell Malen.

Here we take a look at some of the good and the bad from Borussia Dortmund’s 1-0 win over Wolfsburg.
