Marco Reus scores in three straight games, Donyell Malen continues to be a menace:

Marco Reus has well and truly found his form once again in a Dortmund shirt. The mercurial Dortmund stalwart scored Dortmund’s second goal at the end of the first half, really rolling back the years as he buried the ball past Baumann after the Hoffenheim keeper spilled a Donyell Malen cross. Reus continued to be a threat from midfield up until he was subbed off in the second half following Bensebaini’s red card to facilitate for a more defensive line-up.

Malen on his end has continued his scintillating run of form, popping up absolutely everywhere on the pitch, either on the end of dangerous chances, or creating them himself via threading the ball to his teammates with laser precision or piling in dangerous crosses for the likes of Reus and Füllkrug to feed off of. Malen’s renaissance since the second half of last season has propelled him to being Dortmund’s top scorer this season and their most dangerous attacker. His form has prompted interest from Liverpool, but Dortmund would be unwise to move Malen on just as he is starting to really take off for them.
