Borussia Dortmund player ratings from goalless draw against AC Milan
By Tushar Bahl
Julian Ryerson (7/10)
Ryerson put in another solid shift for his side. He was aggressive in defence and managed to keep Rafael Leão at bay with his tireless running.
Mats Hummels (7/10)
Hummels stood up and made his presence felt in defence whenever called upon. He made several vital tackles and interceptions for his side, making sure that Milan weren’t able to get in behind the BVB defence. The veteran centre-back rolled back the years once again, showing how important he still is to this club.
Nico Schlotterbeck (7/10)
Schlotterbeck picked up a yellow card early on but did really well to avoid another booking after that. He was solid in defence for the most part. But the most eye-catching part of his game was his aggressive forward runs, which caused Milan a few problems.
Ramy Bensebaini (7/10)
Ramy Bensebaini went toe to toe with Christian Pulisic and came out on top more often than not. The Algerian international also had a few openings going forward, but wasn’t able to make the most of them.
