Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 4-2 win over Union Berlin
By Tushar Bahl
Donyell Malen (5/10)
Malen had a quiet game by his high standards. He tested the Union Berlin goalkeeper on a couple of occasions, but wasn’t able to make the same impact.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (5/10)
Bynoe-Gittens had some promising moments in the first-half while trying to make things happen for his side. But his decision making in the final third wasn’t always the best, and Julian Brandt came on to replace him at half-time.
Niclas Füllkrug (7/10)
Füllkrug put in a lively performance and gave Borussia Dortmund the lead. He was unlucky to score the own goal, but kept plugging away for his side even when he wasn’t getting directly involved.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Brandt has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s most consistent performers so far this season. And he continued his impressive run by coming off the bench and giving his side the lead with a composed finish on the counter-attack. BVB tend to look much better with Brandt on the pitch, and he proved that once again against Union Berlin.
