Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-0 win over Werder Bremen
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (5/10)
Wolf worked hard for the team but wasn’t able to offer anything going forward. His crosses were either over-hit or under-hit, and he also failed to find the target with a header from close range early on.
Mats Hummels (6/10)
Hummels kept things tight and was very much in control defensively at all times. He led the back-line really well, once again showing why he is a regular starter in this team.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Schlotterbeck had a fairly solid game aside from his error that resulted in Bremen’s best chance. He defended well and put in a stable shift for his side, while also always looking to build play out from the back.
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson got into some really good positions on the left wing but failed to make the most of it. The Norwegian international also forced a good save with a shot from distance. Defensively, he was solid for the most part.
