Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-0 win over Werder Bremen
By Tushar Bahl
Marco Reus (6/10)
Reus missed the best chance of the first-half, but also showed his playmaking abilities by setting up a glorious opportunity for Malen after the break.
Donyell Malen (5/10)
Malen endured a frustrating game as he failed to make the most of the chances that fell to him. He managed to get into some very good positions and break free, but was often let down by his poor touch.
Niclas Füllkrug (5/10)
Füllkrug had a difficult evening against his former club, as the Werder Bremen defenders did an excellent job of keeping him quiet. His teammates weren’t able to pick him out, and he had to drop deep to collect the ball time and time again.
Gio Reyna, Rami Bensebaini, Sebastien Haller, Marcel Sabitzer, Karim Adeyemi
Reyna looked lively and showed glimpses of his quality after coming on in the second-half. If he can manage to stay injury free, the USMNT international can undoubtedly become a key player for Borussia Dortmund.
