Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (5/10)
The penalty call against Wolf was a rather harsh one, and he had a very difficult time in the first-half against the determined Ansgar Knauff. But the right-back did work very hard for the team and also delivered some dangerous crosses into the box.
Mats Hummels (5/10)
Hummels’ lack of pace was exploited well by the Eintracht Frankfurt forwards. He did not make any major errors defensively, but did not always look secure either. The veteran centre-back seemingly picked up an injury as he was forced to come off in the 70th minute.
Nico Schlotterbeck (5/10)
Schlotterbeck was a touch too slow to react in the lead-up to the second Eintracht Frankfurt goal. And he will also feel that he could have done a better job of helping make the shooting angle tighter before Farès Chaïbi’s goal.
Ramy Bensebaini (3/10)
Bensebaini had a very difficult 90 minutes with Eintracht Frankfurt predominantly attacking from his flank. He looked too slow when tracking back on a number of occasions, and his positioning wasn’t the best either. The Algerian international wasn’t helped by the lack of support, but he should have performed better defensively and also missed two good chances to score.
