Borussia Dortmund will look to finally get the better of Bayern Munich when the two rivals collide in the Bundesliga this weekend.

Der Klassiker is set to take centre stage in the Bundesliga this weekend, and Borussia Dortmund will hope to finally end their winless run against their arch-rivals. With Bayern Munich beleaguered by personnel concerns at the moment, Saturday’s game will offer the Black and Yellows their best opportunity to finally triumph in this fixture.

Borussia Dortmund will be sweating on the fitness of Emre Can ahead of the game. Marius Wolf is also a minor doubt, but the rest of the squad should be available for selection.

Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich.

Gregor Kobel managed to shake off his facial injury to start on Wednesday, and will line up between the sticks once again this weekend.

At centre-back, Mats Hummels will likely return to the side with Niklas Süle set to make way. Nico Schlotterbeck is in fine form at the moment and will hope to keep Harry Kane at bay on Saturday.

Ramy Bensebaini will hope to return to the starting XI despite his struggles against Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend. Julian Ryerson will likely start at right-back, but could switch to the opposite flank if Edin Terzic decides to field Marius Wolf instead of Bensebaini.

Salih Özcan should keep his place in the starting XI after putting in an impressive performance in the number six role on Wednesday.

Marcel Sabitzer is also likely to come into the team to shore up the midfield against his former club. The in-form Julian Brandt will complete Borussia Dortmund’s midfield three.

Marco Reus scored the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and should start in the front three against Bayern Munich.

Donyell Malen could also return to the starting XI as he looks to arrest his goal drought. Gio Reyna and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens both impressed against Hoffenheim and are the other attacking options available to Edin Terzic.

Niclas Füllkrug will return to the starting XI against Bayern, with Youssoufa Moukoko set to drop to the bench.
