Emre Can (4/10)

Can came into the team and looked to be off the pace right from the start. Perhaps it was the lack of practice after his long spell on the sidelines, but the BVB captain allowed Gladbach too much space and time on the ball in midfield. He made way for Salih Özcan mid-way through the second-half.

Marcel Sabitzer (5/10)

Sabitzer began Borussia Dortmund’s comeback by making it 2-1. But he didn’t really cover himself in glory with either of Gladbach’s goals. Edin Terzic decided to take him off at half-time.

Julian Brandt (6/10)

Brandt did well to set up Borussia Dortmund’s opening goal and looked lively after the break. He didn’t always make the right decisions in the final third, but still ended up having an impact on the game.
