Borussia Dortmund will look to make it three wins in a row in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday as they take on AC Milan.

It is crunch time in the UEFA Champions League group stage, and Borussia Dortmund will be keen to avoid defeat as they square off against AC Milan on Tuesday. The Black and Yellows have put themselves in a strong position in Group F, but they cannot afford to take their foot off the gas just yet.

Borussia Dortmund will be without the injured Felix Nmecha and the ill Niklas Süle in Milan. Marcel Sabitzer is also a doubt after being subbed off at half-time against Gladbach on Saturday. But Sebastien Haller and Karim Adeyemi are set to return to the squad.

Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their UEFA Champions League group stage clash against AC Milan.

Gregor Kobel will start between the sticks for Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, looking to continue his excellent run of form in the UEFA Champions League.

Ramy Bensebaini put in a decent shift at left-back against his former club on Saturday, and is set to keep his spot in the starting XI. Julian Ryerson should start on the opposite flank.

With Niklas Süle unavailable, Mats Hummels and Nico Schlotterbeck will be Borussia Dortmund’s starting centre-backs against AC Milan. The latter is also dealing with an illness, but will hope to overcome it and play from the start.

In midfield, Emre Can will likely keep his place in the starting XI despite showing signs of rust against Gladbach on Saturday. Salih Özcan could also come into the team, especially if Marcel Sabitzer is unable to recover in time to play from the start.

Julian Brandt will also start in midfield, looking to add to his impressive tally of six goals and six assists this season.

Marco Reus earned praise for leading Borussia Dortmund’s charge on the pitch against Gladbach. The 34 year old continues to be an important player for BVB and will have a key role to play in Milan.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens showed his quality with a game-changing performance on Saturday. He will hope to start once again on Tuesday ahead of Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi.

Niclas Füllkrug is Borussia Dortmund’s first-choice striker and will start up front on Tuesday. The Germany international has three goals and two assists in his last five appearances across all competitions.
