Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-0 win over Sturm Graz
Pascal Groß (6/10) - The German international was likely the one who covered the most ground in this match. Either playing in a back three at times or as a right-back replacement for Ryerson, Groß was everywhere on the pitch and did a decent job in a position that is not his specialty.
Emre Can (6/10) - The team captain is another player who has been asked to play out of position due to the injury crisis. Despite some erratic moments while in possession, Emre Can was solid for most of the time, helping to secure the clean sheet.
Nico Schlotterbeck (8/10) - Schlotterbeck was BVB's best player against Sturm Graz. While defensively, he contributed massively with clean tackles and interceptions, he was also a weapon offensively. As the team had a hard time creating clear-cut chances, it was Schlotterbeck's perfect long passes or ice-cold skills in possession that often opened up spaces for his teammates to explore.
Ramy Bensebaini (5/10) - Bensebaini did not affect the game much from an overall perspective. Offensively, he did not offer enough support to Jamie Gittens, and he also struggled at times while defending. For instance, the Austrians had their best chance in the match at the 70th minute, when Ramy took too long to react and allowed a clean cross that could have complicated things for Dortmund.
