Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-0 win over Sturm Graz
Maximilian Beier (6/10) - After scoring his first goal for Borussia Dortmund last week, Maximilian Beier showed a tremendous effort on Tuesday. The youngster made some exciting runs and also helped Groß a lot, covering defensively, especially in the first-half. After almost scoring a stunning goal just before half-time, Beier disappeared in the second-half.
Jamie Gittens (5/10) - Jamie Gittens was also far from his best self in this particular match. He was well marked most of the time, so he did not have much space to progress the ball and create chances. When he eventually did, he held the ball for a little too long and did not look as sharp as he has been throughout the season.
Serhou Guirassy (7/10) - Serhou Guirassy is showcasing in every match why Dortmund paid his 18 million euros release clause. His ball-holding abilities almost always look like a safe option for Dortmund, offering spaces for his teammates and contributing with clutch goals and assists. Another beautiful pass for Malen's goal.
Donyell Malen (7/10) - The Dutchman has not been in top form when starting matches, but it seems that he always has one card up his sleeve when coming off the bench. Even though he had not participated much since being brought on in the 68th minute, Malen scored an important goal that not only avoided a discouraging result, but maybe even masked a not-so-perfect performance from Borussia Dortmund.
